The smooth steel wire rope is made of uncoated light-drawn steel wire. In order to prevent rust, during the laying process, the steel wire rope needs to be soaked in oil. When the wire rope is laid in small strands, a pulley is used to guide it into the oil pool, then drain the oil pool backward to the wire rope shaft. Smooth surface of the wire rope refers to the surface treatment process, is generally smooth oiling. Smooth wire rope is made of non-galvanized steel wire, in order to rust, laying completed at the same time the wire rope to do oil treatment, the overall oil more dirty wire rope, wire rope is not easy to rust. In short, smooth wire rope, refers to the surface treatment is not galvanized, collectively known as smooth wire rope, surface treatment whether cold galvanized or hot galvanized, are not called smooth wire rope.
